Essential Question - How does the local government affect the lives of people in the community?
Curriculum - Social Studies, Language Arts, and Technology
Third Grade students at Rosinton Elementary will build a website on how a local government functions. Students will work for three weeks interviewing different individuals within the City of Robertsdale to gain knowledge of the departments.
The focus of this assignment is for students to understand the purpose for establishing a governance system within a community, how a governance system works and how it affects the people who live under the system.
